Inkfruit Exchange Scheme

Inkfruit just launched a new and very funky scheme, Exchange old tshirts for new ones at half price. Its just been put up on their blog check it out!!
So a really funky tshirt like this:
would cost you about 175/- plus shipping! and another old tshirt of yours. And these old tshirts will then be given to some NGO's so it will actually clear your wardrobe for good!
Really cool scheme!

Astro Tees

I have already mentioned that I am an astronomy freak too, so just went looking for astronomy tshirts. Found this one on Cafepress really cool. There is also another ash grey colour available in tshirts and sweat shirts.There is also another very cool astro tee available at zazzle. It has a pic of saturns shadow.

Dil Se Bol

Just took a look at this "make your own tshirts" place. It's called Dil Se Bol and guarantees delivery of your customized mugs, tshirts, tiles, coasters etc.. in 4 days anywhere in India! Seems impressive, they have a feature where one can create his/her own design gallery and people can take a look at it, and buy from there if they like wherein the designer gets rewarded.
Pretty interesting venture. If you have used it then let us know your views on it!

Blue Bus Tees

As Inkfruit is settling into the tshirt scene, a new startup has come up in mumbai offering tees online called Blue Bus Tees. Though it is more of a conventional set up but the website is quite hep and the designs are interesting. though all of these brands still need to hit it big like Tantra did. Tantra hit the indian Tshirt market scene uncontested, and all of a sudden everybody was talking about it. But of course Tantra was an offline venture but they did start out a trend!
I was a little irked; remained aloof from it but not for long I finally had to get myself a little pink tantra tee with gandhiji's caricature and with his saying 'My life is my Message' and went around preaching the mantra :p

Hindustan Links

Its just a few years back that online shopping really became viable for indian people like me, and it has already grown so much! Infact keeping aside all the rediff.com's and indiatime's I have found that the more I search I keep finding online sources with products being sold!!
Like just recently I came across Hindustan Links and amongst its rakhi and baisakhi gifts I found a bunch of tshirts!!
The cost is in a large range of prices. From 2 tshirts of 600/- to a tshirt of 550/-.

Google Lunar X Prize Tee Design Competition

I mentioned sometime earlier that I was a astronomy freak as well so, couldn't resist this post on a tshirt design competition which captures the spirit of landing a robot on the moon and driving it 500m photoing along the way. Which is basically what the Google Lunar X Prize is.
They have announced a tshirt competition for all american citizens only!! (Why ??)
The winners get a $250 certificate and a $150 certificate of Cafepress.com

So well if you are a US resident go for it!! Or if you are not maybe you can collaborate with a US citizen and still go for it. Bee creative!

University Tshirts

I think one of the most memorable tshirts in peoples lives would be their college tees!
I still remember the end of final graduation year and I decided that I had to get the college tee. And I still wear it (its been two years), the tee is kinda getting faded but once its too old I will probably go for another one :p in a different colour!

Express India Winners

The winners of Express India a competition being conducted by Inkfruit have just been declared, right in time for Independence days!
And they are some very interesting prints. I was expecting something like the tricolour or the map or something. But all 3 winners are very intelligent designs and they depict recent India. Take a look, this ones my favourite!! Check out the other 2 winners here and here.
