Indian T-shirt Brands

Some time back I had put up a post talking about one of the new t-shirt start ups from Mumbai, Blue Bus Tees, I was wondering what they are upto. On perusing their site I found out that they had come to Malhar at Xavier's 2008, however the new tees for the month section is empty. It seems they are into some offline activities but online they haven't gotten down to making a mark yet!

I was looking at other indian brands like tantra. From what I understand, Tantra has not been making new designs, they have already made such a mark in the Indian market that the old designs keep translating to sales. What I would like to know is, what plans do they have further for their brand? 

Myntra has started really foraging into Tshirts! In fact I believe their website has gotten a rehaul since I last checked it out. Currently they have this 'green' contest running! They also have this Rs 99 corner where a bunch of tees are available for 99/-

There is also People Tree, this online shoppe has a very quaint feel to it. It makes me think of a little shop with interesting stuff to sell. The stuff is timeless and the same but it sells, and people would buy it again :)

Any brands I missed?? Let me know...

Blue Bus Tees

As Inkfruit is settling into the tshirt scene, a new startup has come up in mumbai offering tees online called Blue Bus Tees. Though it is more of a conventional set up but the website is quite hep and the designs are interesting. though all of these brands still need to hit it big like Tantra did. Tantra hit the indian Tshirt market scene uncontested, and all of a sudden everybody was talking about it. But of course Tantra was an offline venture but they did start out a trend!
I was a little irked; remained aloof from it but not for long I finally had to get myself a little pink tantra tee with gandhiji's caricature and with his saying 'My life is my Message' and went around preaching the mantra :p
